Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover nears $60 billion

1534Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover for January-November 2024 totaled $59.4 billion, reflecting a $2.1 billion (3.6%) increase compared to the same period in 2023. This data was published by the Statistics Agency.
Exports amounted to $24.22 billion, marking a 4.4% rise from the previous year, while imports reached $35.15 billion, reflecting a 3.0% growth. As a result, the country recorded a negative trade balance of $10.92 billion during the period.
Uzbekistan maintains trade relations with 195 countries globally. The largest shares of trade turnover were attributed to China (19%), Russia (18%), Kazakhstan (6.5%), Turkey (4.4%), and South Korea (3.0%).
Earlier reports indicated that Uzbekistan-US trade turnover reached a record $773.3 million this year.
