A new ambassador has been appointed to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland. Amirsaid Agzamkhojayev was appointed as the ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland, as reported by the "Dunyo" agency.


Before this appointment, Amirsaid Agzamkhojayev worked as a consul at the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, within the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2020, he has held the position of Consul General. The diplomat is 38 years old and graduated from Tashkent State University of World Languages.


Amirsaid Azamkhozhayev is replacing Bakhrom Babayev, who had served as the Temporary Affairs Representative of Uzbekistan in Poland since 2015 and as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary since 2019.


We would like to remind you that Nadir Ganiyev began his role as the first Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Sweden.
