The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul has issued a warning to Uzbek women in Turkey.

This information was reported on the consulate's Telegram channel.

It has been observed that advertisements are circulating on social networks, targeting Uzbek women for job opportunities in Istanbul, Antalya, Izmir, Bodrum, and other cities, promising substantial earnings.

In these cases, individuals working at pavilions (night cafes) are recruiting young girls to persuade customers to buy drinks and food at inflated prices.

Currently, local law enforcement is implementing expulsion penalties for those involved in such activities.

"Dear sisters! We all understand that engaging in this consumer-driven activity goes against our customs, national traditions, and our sacred religion. To avoid becoming participants, victims, or perpetrators of crimes in Turkey, it is crucial to comply with the legal requirements of the country you reside in, as this may jeopardize your safety and the safety of your loved ones. We strongly advise you to distance yourselves from these places and individuals," the message emphasizes.

Additionally, the consulate general urges citizens to report any information they may have about those responsible for distributing such advertisements and recruiting consumers.
