Uzbekistan’s first ambassador to Andorra meets French President Macron

Uzbek Ambassador Farrukh Tursunov presented his credentials to Andorran co-chairman, French President Emmanuel Macron. This was reported by Dunyo.
According to reports, following the credential presentation ceremony, the two leaders engaged in a conversation. During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to President Macron on behalf of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Emmanuel Macron also expressed his respect and gratitude to the Uzbek leader, emphasizing that the relations between the two countries are of particular importance.
Additionally, Macron highlighted that strengthening bilateral cooperation with Uzbekistan is a key priority, expressing confidence that the ambassador's professional diplomatic skills will further advance relations between the countries.
“We attach great importance to strengthening friendly relations with Uzbekistan and are ready to further expand cooperation in all areas,” said President Macron.
For reference, Farrukh Tursunov, Uzbekistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Spain, visited Madrid on December 7, 2023. On April 9, 2024, he will present his credentials as Uzbekistan's Ambassador to King Felipe VI of Spain. Tursunov is also Uzbekistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
It should also be noted that earlier reports confirmed that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron, will visit France on March 11-13, 2024. During this state visit, high-level negotiations, events, and meetings with official and business circles are planned in Paris.
