The average IQ scores of countries for 2026 have been updated. This year, Uzbekistan recorded an average score of 96.51, down by 0.28 points compared to the previous year, according to a report published by International IQ Test.

According to the data, more than 1.2 million people from 137 countries participated in the ranking, with all participants completing the same set of test questions. Based on this year’s results, Uzbekistan ranked 75th, compared to 70th place in 2025. A total of 4,671 respondents from Uzbekistan took part in the test, achieving an average score of 96.51. Despite the decline, Uzbekistan’s position remains at a moderate level compared to regional indicators. Neighboring Kazakhstan recorded 95.92 points (80th place), Kyrgyzstan 94.48 points (93rd place), and Tajikistan 93.39 points (101st place).

East Asian countries continue to dominate the global rankings. In particular, South Korea ranked first with an average score of 106.97, followed by China with 106.48 in second place, and Japan with 106.3 in third place.

The lowest scores were recorded by the following countries: Rwanda with 86.9 points (135th place), Timor-Leste with 86.7 points (136th place), and Somalia with 83.84 points (137th place).

Limited access to healthcare, nutrition, and education in these countries may directly affect IQ indicators.

It is worth noting that earlier reports said Uzbekistan ranked 141st out of 147 countries in terms of the level of artificial intelligence usage worldwide.
