Uzbeks won 6 medals at the World Championship

The names of the semi-finalists at the World Youth Boxing Championship, which is being held in Spain, have been announced.  Yesterday, on 21 November, 9 boxers from Uzbekistan entered the ring.

Among the women in -48 kg, Gulsevar Ganiyeva defeated Chinese Taipei's Yi Xuan Guo with a score of 5:0. - In the 54 kg category, Mukhlisa Khushvaktova lost to Krisovalanu Kutsokristu from Germany. - 63 kg Sitora Bahadirova could not pass the barrier of Argentinan representative Magali Herrera.  Aziza Zokirova (-70 kg) and Oltinoy Sotimboyeva (-81 kg) proceeded to the next stage of the competition.

Among men, in -54 kg, Khojanazar Nortojiyev won over his Irish opponent, while in the -67 kg weight category, Javahir Ummataliyev left Armenia's Ares Khakobyan in a spot.  In the 75 kg weight category, Torabek Habibullayev fought against his Armenian opponent and won. -92 kg Aynazar Kenesbayev lost to Egyptian Muhammad Khalid in the quarter-finals.

In yesterday's matches, a total of 6 representatives of Uzbekistan qualified for the semi-finals and won at least the bronze medal in the World Cup.
