A fake website has been created on the internet, spreading messages on behalf of the Chairman of the State Tax Committee, claiming that Uzbek citizens are eligible to receive compensation of up to 100 million soums. The State Tax Committee issued a warning regarding these false announcements.

According to the committee, this information is not true and is classified as fake. It stressed that laws, government decisions, and other regulatory legal acts are published only through official sources.

“The only reliable and verified information about taxes can be obtained through the official sources of the State tax committee. We urge citizens to remain vigilant and not to trust fraudsters”, the statement said.

It is worth noting that earlier, the press secretary of the Supreme Court, Aziz Obidov, warned Telegram users that fake “court rulings” were being distributed from unknown profiles in the form of malicious files with an APK extension.
