Students from Uzbekistan win a bronze medal at the International Olympiad

Students from Uzbekistan won prizes at the International Biology and Mathematics Olympiad.  This was reported by the Press Service under the Ministry of Public Education.

As it was reported earlier, students from Uzbekistan participated in the 33rd International Biology Olympiad held in Armenia between 10-18 July.  256 students from 64 countries around the world participated in this Olympiad.  Aziza Abduvaliyeva, a student from the academic lyceum of the Tashkent Institute of Pediatrics, won a bronze medal.

In addition, a student from Uzbekistan won a medal at the 63rd International Mathematical Olympiad held in Oslo, Norway between 6-16 July.

Lazizbek Rajabboyev, a student from Karakul International School of Mathematics, defended the honor of our country at this Olympiad, where 589 students from 104 countries of the world participated, and won a bronze medal.

According to the established procedure, students with a medal are admitted to a higher education institution without tests, on the basis of a state grant.

For the bronze medal, the pupil will be awarded 60 million soms, and his teacher will be awarded 45 million soms.
