Uzbek wrestlers won the tournament in Croatia

The "Zagreb Open" international wrestling competition, hosted by the Croatian capital Zagreb on 1-5 February has ended. The national team of Uzbekistan also competed for medals in the tournament that gathered the world's strongest wrestlers in this sport.
Uzbek athletes took part in the Greco-Roman and women's wrestling programs.
At the end of the uncompromising competition, the "classic" wrestlers from Uzbekistan won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal each. Ikhtiyor Botirov, who competed in the -55 kg weight category, climbed to second place of the podium, while Jamal Jumabayev took a place in the top three in the -72 kg weight category.
It should be recalled that earlier we reported that Uzbek judokas also won prizes in the international competition.
