Uzbek girls won 4 medals at the Asian Championship

Uzbekistan's female athletes secured a total of four medals in the ongoing Asian Weightlifting Championship held in Tashkent. Today, on February 9, Nigora Suvonova and Tursunoy Jabborova contributed to the team's success in the women's category.

Competing in the -87 kg weight class, Suvonova clinched the gold medal in the deadlift with a lift of 101 kg, and she also secured a silver medal by lifting 128 kg.

In the +87 kg category, Tursunoy Jabborova earned a bronze medal by lifting 116 kg. Additionally, Jabborova achieved a deadlift of 124 kg, resulting in a total of 258 kg across both lifts.

It's worth noting that on February 8, Sarvarbek Zafarjanov and Sunnatilla O'sarov from Uzbekistan also secured medals across various events.
