A large consignment of Moderna vaccine has been brought to Uzbekistan

Today, 28 March, 2,108,400 doses of Moderna vaccine have been delivered to Uzbekistan under the COVAX program. This is reported by the UNICEF office in Uzbekistan.
It was noted that the total number of vaccines delivered to Uzbekistan under this program has reached 19.24 million doses.
COVAX is a global initiative that brings together WHO, GAVI, CEPI vaccines and UNICEF. UNICEF plays a leading role in the procurement and supply of vaccines.
Earlier, on 14 March, 1 million 999.5 thousand doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine were brought to Uzbekistan under the COVAX program.
