16200The process of collecting humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan to Turkey has been temporarily suspended. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan gave official information about this.
"We had to temporarily stop collecting humanitarian aid. Due to the arrival of cargo from all regional divisions, it takes extra time to sort, pack and prepare them for shipment.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the process of collecting humanitarian aid has resumed and the list of products that need to be delivered to Turkey will be announced again.
So far, 25 trucks (about 550 pallets) filled with necessary products for the Turkish people have been sent with the help of Uzbeks.
It should be recalled that Uzbekistan is actively participating in the elimination of the consequences of the earthquake that occurred in Turkey. On the order of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, humanitarian aid was sent to Turkey, which was devastated by a strong earthquake on 6 February of this year.
In addition, first, a search and rescue group of 100 people was sent to Turkey, and on 9 February of this year, a second group of 71 people was sent to Turkey.
