In Uzbekistan, there is a proposal to allow the construction of kindergartens on vacant school lands. On September 4, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed this during a presentation on the development of preschool education and the improvement of the system for nurturing talented young people.

It was noted that over the past seven years, the coverage level in the preschool education system has increased from 27 percent to 74.6 percent, to reach 80 percent in the next five years.

The presentation considered proposals aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of preschool education. Notably, it is proposed to permit the construction of kindergartens on vacant school lands through public-private partnerships.

Additionally, educational and methodological materials based on the state program are not fully available in all kindergartens. Non-governmental institutions are currently using Internet resources for these materials. To address this, all programs will now be posted on the Ministry of Preschool and School Education's website and made available free of charge.

Most educators in kindergartens have only secondary education, with training occurring once every five years. To expedite this process, "Methodical Skill Hour" and "Methodical Skill Day" events will be organized between qualification courses. There are also plans to introduce dual education in higher education and to increase target quotas for part-time and evening studies.

Currently, attendance and food expenses in state kindergartens are recorded on paper. There is now a move to digitize these reports using biometric identification technology.
