Presidential decree sets dates for next military conscription

The next military service conscription for citizens of Uzbekistan has been officially announced. The details are outlined in the Presidential Decree titled "On the next call for military service of citizens of Uzbekistan and the release of military servicemen who have completed their service to the reserve of the Armed Forces", signed on January 29 of this year.

According to the decree, citizens of conscription age who do not have exemptions or deferrals will be called up for military service during the period of March-April 2025.

Additionally, citizens who are fit for military service, including those fit with restrictions, but are not enlisted in the Armed Forces during this conscription period, will be placed in the mobilization call reserve.

At the same time, servicemen who have completed their term of military service will be formally discharged to the reserve of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan in March-April 2025.

The implementation of this resolution will be overseen by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Secretary of the Security Council Viktor Makhmudov.
