A new round of military service enlistment has been announced in Uzbekistan. This decision, signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on February 12 of this year, outlines the upcoming procedures.
As per the decree, between March and April 2024, Uzbekistan citizens of eligible military age, without deferment or exemption rights, will be summoned for military duty.
Those citizens qualified for active military service, without deferment or exemption privileges, yet not called up during this period, will be placed in the mobilization reserve.
Furthermore, military personnel who have completed their fixed term of service in the Reserve of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan will be discharged in March-April 2024.
