Highest-paid professions in Uzbekistan in 2024

At the end of 2024, the finance sector emerged as the highest-paid profession in Uzbekistan, according to the Statistics Agency.
The report highlights that the most significant salary growth was observed in Tashkent, where the average monthly salary increased by 21.4%, reaching 9 million sums.
Top-paid sectors:
- Finance: 15.2 million sums
- Communications: 13.1 million sums
- Transport: 8.1 million sums
Average salaries by sector:
- Industry: 6.4 million sums
- Trade: 6.2 million sums
- Construction: 5.9 million sums
Lowest-paid sectors:
- Healthcare: 3.4 million sums
- Education: 3.6 million sums
Additionally, it was reported that the average monthly wage in Uzbekistan in 2024 increased by 17.4% compared to 2023, with the average nominal wage (including taxes and deductions) reaching 5.36 million sums, up from 4.56 million sums in 2023.
