The volume of gasoline production in Uzbekistan has increased

According to the Statistics Committee, in 2023, the country produced 1,215,500 tons of automobile gasoline, showing an increase of 115,500 tons from 2022.

During January-November 2022, gasoline production in Uzbekistan reached 1.1 million tons, marking a 9.3 percent rise compared to the same period in 2021. Notably, production peaked in January and hit its lowest point in May 2023.

The monthly breakdown of gasoline production by large enterprises in 2023 is as follows:

- January: 139.6 thousand tons
- February: 124.2 thousand tons
- March: 121.4 thousand tons
- April: 119.4 thousand tons

- June: 100,000 tons
- July: 133.3 thousand tons
- August: 108,000 tons
- September: 113.8 thousand tons
- October: 100.3 thousand tons
- November: 109.3 thousand tons

Moreover, it's noteworthy that Uzbekistan was reported to have the most expensive gasoline among the CIS countries, as highlighted in a previous rating by the "Global Petrol Prices" platform.
