It was revealed how long the anomalous cold will last in Uzbekistan

The anomalous cold weather will persist until the end of this week.  This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Service Center.

It was noted that today it will snow in a large part of the territory of the republic, and it will be heavy in some parts of the mountainous regions of the republic.

On 11 January, only in the central and eastern regions of the republic, snow will continue to fall with a light intensity.

Then, until the end of the week, it is expected that it will be mostly rain-free in all regions of Uzbekistan.

Between 10-11 January, the wind is expected to increase to 17-22 m/s in some places of the Surkhandarya region and Fergana Valley region, and sometimes it may increase to 23-25 m/s.

The arrival of cold air will cause a significant decrease in temperature in all regions of Uzbekistan.

By the middle of the week, the temperature will drop to 12-17°C at night, 20°C in some places, 5-10°C during the day, and 12°C in some places.  The strongest cold is expected in the north of the republic - up to 20-25°C at night, up to 27-30°C in Ustyurt and the desert regions of Navoi region, and 7-12°C during the day.
