Tomorrow, studies will begin at higher education institutions

Tomorrow, 11 January, classes will gradually begin in higher and professional educational institutions and academic lyceums.  This was announced by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.

According to the message, it is recommended to organize the educational process in higher education institutions, technical schools, colleges, vocational schools, and academic lyceums in coordination with local governments.

"To carry out these processes in the prescribed manner, a "Staff" consisting of qualified specialists has been established in each educational institution, which will operate day and night.  Between 10-18 January, which is expected to be extremely cold, it will be prohibited to hold any meetings (including ZOOM), events, and other meetings that distract officials from their main activities in all educational institutions.

Also, stable operation of heating systems of the buildings of educational institutions is ensured.

Heads of educational institutions and relevant local governments will inform students, ensure their arrival in the area of higher education institutions, and personally supervise these processes. It was instructed to take into account the opportunities of the region, and the arrival of students to universities in adverse weather conditions, and create the necessary conditions for this.

It will be permitted to make changes to the educational schedule, when necessary, to organize the educational process.  It is recommended that students prepare for the exams by 20 January," The report said.

It was noted separately that the final control works will not be organized until 20 January.

Students who were unable to come to study due to weather conditions are offered appropriate remote programs to start the learning process and prepare for control exams.

It should be recalled that earlier, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation announced that the winter vacation period for students of higher and professional educational institutions and academic lyceums has been extended until 18 January 2023.
