Twin births in Uzbekistan: January–April 2025 statistics revealed

Between January and April 2025, a total of 266,478 live births were recorded across Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Breakdown of births by number of babies per delivery:
- Single births: 260,119
- Twin births: 6,179
- Triplets or more: 180
It should be noted that the overall birth rate has declined compared to the same period last year. Earlier reports indicated that the number of births in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by 8,000 compared to the first quarter of 2024.
