Three sets of twins born in Syrdarya

Three twin babies have been born in the Syrdarya region, the Regional Health Department reported.

The children were born to a mother, born in 2001, living in the Bunyodkor neighborhood of Boyovut district, via a complex delivery.

"A complicated operation conducted by first-category obstetrician-gynecologist Shahlo Khojaeva at the Syrdarya branch of the Republican Specialized Mother and Child Health Scientific and Practical Medical Center was successfully completed," the report said.

The newborns include two boys and one girl, with the following weights:

•  First boy: 1.92 kg
•  Second boy: 2.71 kg
•  Girl: 2.83 kg

The mother and babies are reported to be in good condition and are currently under medical supervision.

It is worth noting that in August last year, a 23-year-old woman gave birth to four twins in the Tashkent district of the Tashkent region. All necessary medical conditions were provided at the Republican Perinatal Center, and as a result of an uncomplicated cesarean section, a boy weighing 1.622 kg and three girls weighing 1.33 kg, 1.51 kg, and 1.37 kg were born.
