An Academy of Nurses will be established in Uzbekistan

A Nursing Academy will be established in Tashkent in cooperation with the Turkish University of Health Sciences.  This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

It is noted that in order to fundamentally improve the system of training, upgrading, and retraining of medical personnel, an agreement was reached during the dialogue with the rector of the university Javdat Erdol at the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

The training of nurses in the academy, which will start from the new academic year, is carried out based on a 4-year curriculum based on international educational standards.  According to this, two years of education will be conducted in Uzbekistan and two years in Turkey.

Also, in the dialogue between the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and the leadership of the University of Health Sciences of Turkey, a 4-year joint program in the field of "Medical Management" at the bachelor's level to train leading personnel for the medical system will be launched.  In this project, students will study in Turkey for two years.

It should be recalled that it was announced that the Academy of Law Enforcement of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be established based on the Academy of the General Prosecutor's Office.
