6343At the conclusion of negotiations between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadir Japarov, a series of bilateral documents were adopted. This information was reported by the President's press service.
It was noted that 16 documents were signed during the visit, including:
- An intergovernmental agreement on resort and recreation facilities located in the Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- A protocol on amendments to the intergovernmental agreement regarding the mutual arrival and departure of citizens.
- A protocol on the completion of bilateral negotiations concerning Uzbekistan's membership in the World Trade Organization.
- A protocol for cooperation in the field of construction activities.
- A declaration on cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and migration.
- A protocol on cooperation in the fields of culture and art.
- A declaration on cooperation in the field of public service.
- An action plan for increasing the volume of mutual trade from 2024 to 2030.
- A plan of practical measures for the development of cooperation in physical education and sports from 2024 to 2026.
- A "roadmap" for the further development of cooperation in agriculture and food supply from 2024 to 2026.
- An action plan for the development of cooperation between the cities of Tashkent and Bishkek from 2024 to 2026.
- A memorandum between the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, among others.
It is worth noting that earlier, a meeting between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Sadir Japarov took place in a narrow circle at the Koksaroy residence.
