Uzbekistan’s top fruit and vegetable export markets in 2024

3213In January-December 2024, Uzbekistan exported 2 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth $1.5 billion, according to the Statistics Agency.
The largest export destination for Uzbekistan’s fruits and vegetables was Russia, which imported 815.1 thousand tons valued at $632.9 million. Kazakhstan followed as the second-largest market, purchasing 520.5 thousand tons worth $189.8 million. Other significant destinations included:
- Kyrgyzstan: 151.7 thousand tons, $57.9 million
- China: 144.6 thousand tons, $128.6 million
- Pakistan: 124.7 thousand tons, $192.3 million
- Afghanistan: 67.6 thousand tons, $124.4 million
- Iraq: 32.9 thousand tons, $13.4 million
- Turkey: 28.2 thousand tons, $48.3 million
- Belarus: 22.6 thousand tons, $20.3 million
- Other countries: 128.5 thousand tons, $141.7 million
Additionally, it was previously reported that up to 1 billion sums will be allocated for equipment to enhance the processing of fruits and vegetables in Uzbekistan.
