The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan received the Ambassador of Ukraine

On 2 February 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to our country Mykola Doroshenko. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is noted that during the reception, current issues of Uzbek-Ukraine bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed.

It was also noted the importance of taking joint measures to accelerate trade and economic relations.

We remind you that on 10 November 2022, a meeting was held with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the country Mykola Doroshenko at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  The meeting was held in connection with the baseless statement of the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which was published in the media, that products were delivered to Uzbekistan, bypassing the restrictions of the current sanctions.  In response, it was noted that Ukraine will not allow the dissemination of false information about Uzbekistan in the mass media.
