Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic have officially submitted a joint bid to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to host the 2031 Asian Cup. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association.

The AFC has begun reviewing candidates for hosting the prestigious tournament, which is the most significant football competition in Asia. Citing recent football developments, improved infrastructure, and increasing influence on the international stage, the football federations of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan have expressed confidence in their ability to organize the tournament at a high level.

Stadiums in cities such as Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana, and Karshi have been upgraded to meet international standards. Uzbekistan has previously hosted major tournaments, including the AFC U-20 and U-23 Championships, as well as the Futsal World Cup.

The AFC will evaluate the proposals before selecting the host nation for the 2031 Asian Cup.
