Now, according to the order of the Minister of preschool and school education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in general secondary educational institutions, along with traditional classes, competitive classes are also organized based on a variable curriculum. This practice was implemented on the basis of the minister’s order No. 215 “On approval of variable curricula for 2023-2024 in general secondary education institutions”.
According to it, separate variant plans were presented for general secondary educational institutions of 3 types – Uzbek, Russian and related languages.
The order also lists the designated weekly class hours. The selection class is organized on a voluntary basis for students of grades 7-11 of general secondary educational institutions in several areas. In the order, a total of 18 routes were proposed for selection.
