It was announced when the admission to the first grade in the schools of Uzbekistan will begin

It has been announced that admission to the first grade in schools of Uzbekistan will begin.  This information was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

The admission process to the first grade is carried out in two stages:

Stage 1: Within the micro-region (from June 20 to July 31).

Stage 2: Outside the micro-region (August 1-15).

The admission process is conducted electronically in 43 districts of the country. Parents can register and submit their applications through the my.maktab.uz electronic platform starting from 12:00 on June 20. The list of districts where documents can be submitted electronically to the Ministry has also been approved.

In all other districts, applications are accepted by the school using traditional methods. Students admitted to the first grade will be entered into the Ministry’s electronic system (adm.maktab.uz) and will be monitored.

Additionally, the ministry’s press service would like to remind everyone that according to Article 9 of the Law “On Education,” children will be admitted to school in the year they turn 7 years old. Consequently, children born between January 1 and December 31, 2016, will be admitted to the 1st grade this year.
