Today, June 28, Uzbekistan national team lost 3-1 to DR Congo in the third round of the 2026 World Cup group stage.
The match began well for Uzbekistan. Eldor Shomurodov opened the scoring in the 10th minute. The national team captain found the net with an accurate strike and put his side ahead.
In the second half, DR Congo managed to change the course of the game. Yoane Wissa equalized in the 68th minute.
