Uzbekistan strengthens combat potential of Armed Forces

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced on November 20 that Uzbekistan will intensify efforts to enhance the combat readiness and moral strength of its Armed Forces.

Speaking to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the President underscored the importance of safeguarding the country's independence, sovereignty, and the peaceful lives of its citizens, which he described as the nation’s greatest treasures.

“We must never forget: the security and defense of our country is a sacred duty not only of the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies but also of all people who consider Uzbekistan their Motherland, regardless of nationality, language, or religion,” the President declared.

President Mirziyoyev also stressed the importance of fostering unity among Uzbekistan’s diverse population, calling it a cornerstone of national security. He highlighted the increasing global threats and underscored the necessity of bolstering the combat and moral capabilities of the Armed Forces to address emerging challenges.

This renewed focus signals a commitment to reinforcing national defense amid evolving global and regional security dynamics.
