Uzbekistan Cooperates with Kyrgyzstan in Eliminating Transboundary Emergency Situations

The Ministers of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan signed another document aimed at strengthening cooperation between the rescue agencies of the two countries.  This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was reported that on May 14th of this year, the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Boobek Ajikeyev, arrived in Uzbekistan.  There, he met with his colleague from Uzbekistan Major General Abdulla Koldoshev.

After an informal dialogue, the heads of rescue agencies of the two countries approved a plan of measures for cooperation in preventing and eliminating the consequences of cross-border emergency situations.

It is noted that this document consists of 9 points, which include joint exercises, seminars, activities aimed at improving the information exchange system and strengthening cooperation in this regard.
