Some streets to be closed due to the Uzbekistan-Qatar match

On June 10, several streets in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent will be temporarily closed due to the upcoming World Cup qualifying match between the national teams of Uzbekistan and Qatar. This was reported by the Road Traffic Safety Department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent.

Vehicle movement will be completely restricted on the following streets from 16:00 until the end of the event:

- From the intersection of Chilonzor and Chuponata streets along Chuponata street to the intersection of Chuponata and Qatortol streets;
- From the intersection of Chilonzor and KHAY streets along Chilonzor street to the intersection of Chilonzor and Mukimiy streets;
- Bunyodkor secondary street from KHAY to Mukimiy street.

Additionally, partial traffic restrictions will be enforced intermittently on the following streets during the event:

- Intersection of Alisher Navoiy and Furkat streets;
- Tunnel entrance on Furkat street from the Sebzor-Ganga bridge;
- Tunnel entrance on Zarkaynar street;
- Under the Kamolon bridge on Bunyodkor street;
- Bunyodkor street exit to the 2nd level main road near the Embassy of Azerbaijan;
- Intersections of Qatortol-Chuponata, Chilonzor-Chuponata, Bunyodkor-KHAY, Bunyodkor 2nd level road-Qatortol, Bunyodkor-Gavhar, THAY-Bunyodkor, and Chopon Ata-Shota Rustaveli streets;
- Erkin RSS site for heavy trucks.

For your information, the Uzbekistan-Qatar match is the final fixture for the Uzbekistan National Football Team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The “White Wolves” have already secured their place in the prestigious tournament. The match will kick off at 18:45 Tashkent time at the “Bunyodkor” stadium.
