Nodir Eliboev appointed head coach of the Uzbekistan Futsal team

Former Uzbek futsal player Nodir Eliboev has been appointed as the head coach of the country's national team, according to the press service of the Uzbekistan Futsal Federation.  

On February 14, during an event in Tashkent organized by the Football Association of Uzbekistan and the Futsal Federation of Uzbekistan, the "Strategy for the Development of Futsal in Uzbekistan for 2025-2028" was introduced, along with the new head coaches for the national futsal teams. Eliboev was officially presented as the head coach of the national team.  

At the same event, head coaches were also appointed for the women's team and other age groups. Farrukh Zokirov was named the head coach of the Uzbekistan women's futsal team. Meanwhile, Konstantin Sviridov will lead the U-19 team, and Dilshod Rahmatov will take charge of the U-17 team.  

Additionally, Brazilian futsal specialist and coach of the Brazilian women's national team, Mauricio Teixeira, was announced as the physical training coach for the Uzbekistan futsal team.
