14499Food products with a high share in Uzbekistan imports in the first quarter of the current year has been identified. This is reported by State Statistics Committee.
The cost of some types of food products imported into Uzbekistan in January-March 2022:
• Wheat – up to 201.6 million USD;
• Sugar cane – up to 91.9 million USD;
• Margarine products – up to 84.5 million USD;
• Beef – up to 46.3 million USD;
• Potatoes – up to 38.6 million USD;
• Vegetable oil – up to 31 million USD;
• Cocoa and chocolate – up to 30.7 million USD;
• Wheat flour – up to 28.8 million USD;
• Bananas – up to 17.4 million USD;
• Food for children – up to 15.6 million USD;
• Dairy products – up to 14.5 million USD;
• Poultry – 1 up to 1.7 million USD;
• Tea – up to 11.6 million USD;
• Corn – up to 9.1 million USD;
• Mandarin – up to 8.3 million USD;
• Coffee – up to 8.3 million USD;
Partner countries with the highest proportion of food imports in January-March:
• Kazakhstan – US$ 309.7 million;
• Russia – US$ 205.2 million;
• Brazil – US$ 97.5 million;
• Belarus – US$ 34.3 million;
• Pakistan – US$ 33.2 million;
• Ecuador – US$ 17 million;
• Turkey – US$ 14.7 million;
• China – US$ 12 million;
• Iran – US$ 11.8 million;
• Ukraine – US$ 10.8 million.
