Prime Minister of Uzbekistan signs 5 contracts in Afghanistan - media

Five agreements were signed between Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov of Uzbekistan and the leadership of the "Taliban" interim government. This was reported by "Sputnik Afghanistan."

The agreements were made between the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the "Taliban" interim government and the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan. The signing was conducted by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Abdul Gani Barodar, the Deputy Prime Minister of the "Taliban" interim government for Economic Affairs.

Additionally, a protocol aimed at strengthening cooperation between the ministries of finance, agriculture, and mining was signed.

"The agreements focus on developing and enhancing economic relations between the Taliban’s ministries of mining, oil, agriculture, irrigation, and animal husbandry, and their Uzbek counterparts," the report stated.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov expressed Uzbekistan's readiness to collaborate with Afghanistan.

Earlier, it was reported that Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov traveled to Kabul, Afghanistan.
