Number of cars in Uzbekistan reaches 4.6 million

As of July 1 this year, 4 million 612.7 thousand vehicles owned by individuals were registered in Uzbekistan, the National Statistics Committee reported.
Passenger cars account for 93 percent of all registered vehicles. Compared to the same period in 2024, the total number of cars has increased by 441.5 thousand.
The breakdown of vehicles owned by individuals is as follows:
- Passenger cars – 4 million 289 thousand units
- Trucks – 302.6 thousand units
- Minibuses – 7.7 thousand units
- Special vehicles – 7.3 thousand units
- Buses – 6.1 thousand units
For comparison, as of April 1 this year, there were 4 million 522.1 thousand vehicles registered to individuals in the country.
