The number of vehicles owned by individuals in Uzbekistan has approached 5 million. The National Statistics Committee reported this.
According to the data, as of April 1, 2026, more than 4.903 million vehicles owned by individuals were registered in Uzbekistan.
The majority of them are passenger cars, accounting for 92.8% of the total. It was noted that the number of vehicles increased by 344,600 compared to the same period in 2025.
Vehicles owned by individuals are distributed by type as follows:
- passenger cars — 4.5523 million;
- trucks — 330,300;
- minibuses — 7,500;
- special vehicles — 7,200;
- buses — 5,800.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan’s population after the census had been announced. According to the report, the population of Uzbekistan stood at 39,047,321.
