The best in Uzbek sports have been identified

12771Yesterday, 23 December, within the framework of the “National Sports Award-2022” event, the best athletes of the year, coaches and devotees who contributed to Uzbek sports were awarded.
The best athletes of the year received a cash prize of 5,000 dollars, while the winners of the other nominations received a cash prize of 15 million soms.
Winners of the “National Sports Award-2022” award:
The best young athlete of the year: Gulsevar Ganiyeva (world boxing champion (youth);
Discovery of the year: Sharifa Davronova (two-time Asian and one-time world champion in youth athletics, winner of the Islamic Solidarity Games);
The best referee of the year: Eshpolat Hidoyatov (Sports wrestling);
The best sports doctor of the year: Rustam Ablyalimov (Cycling);
The best young paralympian of the year: Azizbek Boynazarov (paraswimming, winner of the Islamic Solidarity Games);
The best parasport coach of the year: Bobur Koziyev (Parataekwondo);
The best female paralympian of the year: Guljanoy Naimova (Parataekwondo, winner of the Paralympic Games, world champion);
The best male paralympian of the year: Server Ibragimov (para shooting, world championship bronze medalist);
Winners of the Symbol of Strength nomination: Rustam Mehmonov (Chairman of the Center for the Development of Football for Disabled-Amputees “Matonat Futbol”) and Bakhtiyor Rajabov (Honorary Honorary Member of the National Football Team of Disabled-Amputees);
The best parasport club of the year: Sports wrestling club;
The best sports journalist of the year: Kamoliddin Alimov;
The most active sports promoter: Timur Nizayev
The best press service: Vitaly Judro (Athletics);
For long-term service in the promotion of Olympism: Anvar Avazkhojayev;
The best national team of the year: Weightlifting national team;
The best federation: Chess Federation of Uzbekistan;
The best organizer of sports events: the Horse Racing and Equestrian Federation of Uzbekistan;
For many years of service in the field of sports: Brother Abduraimov (honored coach of Uzbekistan, holder of the honorary title “Pride of Uzbekistan”);
For his contribution to popularization of national sports: Nigmatilla Yoldoshev (general prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan);
For her contribution to the development of women’s sports: Tanzila Narbayeva (Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Head of the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan);
For services in attracting young people to a healthy lifestyle: Abdusalom Azizov (chairman of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, head of the Football Association of Uzbekistan);
The best organizer of international events: Olympic Council of Asia;
The best coach of the year: Ilias Iliadis (Judo);
The best female athlete of the year: Svetlana Osipova (Taekwondo world champion);
The best male athlete: Muzaffarbek Toraboyev (Judo world champion).
