Yesterday, 23 December the best people in Uzbek sports at the end of the year were determined, and athletes and coaches who contributed to the development of Uzbek sports in several areas were awarded.
Olympic weightlifting champion Ruslan Nuriddinov, who claimed the nomination of the best athlete of the year among men, was awarded a cash prize of $12,000 according to the presidential decree.
For information, world judo champion Muzaffarbek Torabayev was recognized as the best male athlete of 2022 in Uzbek sports.
It should be recalled that Ruslan Nuriddinov recently won the World Championship hosted by Bogotá, Colombia.
