A Nexia driver was involved in a hit-and-run incident against a child in Samarkand

The Regional Internal Affairs Department has reported a hit-and-run incident that occurred in Samarkand.  The driver of a Nexia vehicle hit a schoolboy while he was crossing the street, and then fled the scene without providing any medical aid to the victim.

The incident took place on 17th April at 8.10 a.m. on Firdavsi Street in Samarkand.  The driver of the Nexia vehicle, who hit the schoolboy at the pedestrian crossing, drove away from the scene without offering any assistance to the victim.

The schoolboy is a 5th-grade student from a school located in the area.  Fortunately, he was immediately taken to the medical association by the school teachers.

The road safety department of the Internal Affairs Agency of Samarkand City conducted an investigation, and the driver who committed this Road Transport Incident was found.  Measures were taken against him in accordance with the law, and his car was impounded.
