7 billion soums will be transferred from the local budget of Tashkent city to the account of the "Pakhtakor" football club. The mayor of the city, Shavkat Umrzakov, has made the relevant decision.

According to it, the 7 billion soums will cover utility services, wages, other similar payments, and match expenses of FC "Pakhtakor" LLC. These funds will be allocated from the reserve fund of the local budget by increasing the share of the city administration in the club's charter fund.

The mayor's decision takes into account the Cabinet of Ministers' decision No. 261 (April 30, 2021) "On measures to increase the effectiveness of football clubs," which states that the Tashkent city administration is the main sponsor of the "Bunyodkor" and "Pakhtakor" teams.

Additionally, the appeal of the "Pakhtakor" club, dated July 13, 2023, has been considered. The General Directorate of Economy and Finance will make necessary changes to the local budget of Tashkent city in 2023, and the Treasury Department will finance the allocated funds according to established procedures. The club will utilize the funds for targeted spending and take measures to increase its charter fund.

It is worth mentioning that the "Pakhtakor" club is owned by the former mayor of Tashkent, Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev. With 28 points, the club is currently in second place in the tournament table after playing 13 matches in the Super League.

On June 24 of this year, Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev visited the training base of the "Pakhtakor" team in Qibray, where he familiarized himself with the recent developments in the complex and interacted with the team members.
