Earlier, it was reported that Uzbek professional boxer Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov, who competes in the -57 kg weight category, expressed dissatisfaction with the result of his fight for the IBA belt against Russian Vsevolod Shumkov. He requested a rematch from the president of the International Boxing Association (IBA), Umar Kremlyov.
Kremlyov himself reacted to the situation and confirmed that a rematch will be held.
"Indeed, this fight was controversial. There is no room for discussion; there will be a rematch," Kremlyov wrote in the comments on Mirzahalilov's Instagram post.
