Mahmud Murodov, a former UFC fighter from Uzbekistan now competing in the "Octagon MMA" league, has stated that he has made his mark in UFC history, and it's time for the younger generation to shine.

"I want to tell all the haters, yes, I'm out of the UFC. My chapter with this organization is over. Now it's the youth's time. Regardless of the criticism, I will continue working on myself," Murodov said.

It's worth noting that 34-year-old Mahmud Murodov was the first fighter from Uzbekistan to compete in the UFC. He made his debut in September 2019. Throughout his UFC career, Murodov had a total of 7 fights, securing 4 wins and suffering 2 losses. One scheduled fight involving Murodov was not held.

Additionally, it was previously revealed why another UFC fighter from Uzbekistan, Nursultan Roziboev, had his fight against Russia's Renat Fakhretdinov canceled.
