Two women traveling to Turkey for the purpose of prostitution were detained at Samarkand International Airport, the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the report, the operation was carried out as part of anti-human trafficking efforts. During the operation, two women aged 22 and 36, residents of Tashkent region, were stopped at Samarkand International Airport while attempting to leave for Turkey for sexual exploitation and prostitution.
