Two earthquakes occurred in Uzbekistan last night

Today, 9 September, there were two earthquakes experienced in Uzbekistan.  This was reported by the Republican Center for Seismological Prognostic Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Initially, at 01:29am Tashkent time (09/08/2022, 20:29 GMT), an earthquake occurred in Kyrgyzstan.  The earthquake coordinates: 39.79 degrees north latitude; 69.67 degrees east longitude.  The magnitude M=4.6. The depth was 5 km.  The epicenter of the earthquake was 168km southeast of Tashkent.

The strength of the earthquake in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

2-3 magnitudes in the city of Bekabad, 58km.
2-3 magnitudes in the city of Shirin, 68km.
2 magnitudes in Bekabad district, 78km.
2 magnitudes in Yangiabad district, 81km.
2 magnitudes in Boyovut district, 89km.

The second earthquake was experienced directly in Uzbekistan.  The earthquake occurred at 02:00am local time on 9 September (09/08/2022, 21:00pm GMT).  The epicenter: Andijan region, Asaka district.  The earthquake coordinates: 40.58 degrees north latitude; 72.16 degrees east longitude. The magnitude M=3.3.  The depth was 10km.  The epicenter of the earthquake was 259km southeast of Tashkent.
