Tokayev awards Sirojiddin Sayyid

7381By the decision of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Uzbekistan's People's Poet, Sirajiddin Sayyid, was awarded the Order of "Honour." This was reported by the press service of the Writers' Union.
Beybut Atamkulov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan presented the award at the Writers' Union.
"Today, Beybut Atamkulov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, was a guest at the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan," stated the Union's message.
Representatives from the embassy and the Writers' Union participated in the award ceremony. During the event, it was noted that literary relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are flourishing in various aspects.
Ambassador Atamkulov presented the Chairman of the Writers' Union, Sirojiddin Sayyid, with the Order of Honor, approved by the decision of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Both sides expressed their commitment to future literary and cultural cooperation, exchanging gifts afterward.
It should be noted that Minhojiddin Hojimatov (Minhojiddin Mirzo) was recently appointed as the first deputy chairman of the Writers' Union for Creative Affairs.
