Trump sends letter to Shavkat Mirziyoyev

On March 26, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a letter from President of the United States Donald Trump, according to presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

In his letter, the U.S. leader highly praised Mirziyoyev’s participation in the inaugural meeting of the “Peace Council” held in February this year.

Trump also noted the significant progress being achieved under Mirziyoyev’s leadership in Uzbekistan and expressed gratitude for the invitation to visit the country.

For his part, President Donald Trump invited the Uzbek leader to attend the next meeting of the “Peace Council,” as well as the G20 Summit to be held in Miami.

“May God bless you and the great people of Uzbekistan,” the letter reads.

It is worth noting that earlier, Donald Trump held a phone conversation with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and invited him to participate in the G20 Summit as a guest.
