Streets closed in Tashkent due to “Tashkent Flowers” festival

Traffic will be restricted on parts of Zarafshan, Istiklol, and Buyuk Turan streets in the center of Tashkent from April 29 to May 3, 2025. The capital’s administration has announced this in a press release.

The closures are due to the upcoming "Tashkent Flowers" festival. The festival’s main events will take place in front of the National Library of Uzbekistan, and the following streets will be affected:

- The section of Zarafshan Street between the Hyatt Regency Tashkent Hotel security checkpoint and Matbuotchilar Street;
- The section of Istiklol Street between Amir Temur and Buyuk Turan Streets;
- The section of Buyuk Turan Street from the intersection with Istiklol Street to the Youth Palace of Creativity.

The administration recommends using alternative routes during the specified period.

It should be noted that earlier, it was announced that part of "Uzbekistan Ovozi" street in the Mirzo Ulugbek district would be closed for more than a month.
