Client throws object at club manager, causing serious eye injury in Tashkent (video)

A video circulating on social media shows a nightclub client in Tashkent deliberately throwing a clapper at a young woman’s face. The capital’s Main Department of Internal Affairs has commented on the incident.

According to the department, the event took place at around 2:00 a.m. on July 17 at a nightclub in the Yashnabad district. A.R., born in 1980, threw a clapper at the face of M.K., a club employee born in 2000. As a result, the victim was hospitalized with a serious eye contusion, bruising of the upper eyelid, nasal surface, and forehead, as well as a laceration. She remains under medical supervision.

The Yashnabad District Police Department is currently conducting a preliminary investigation. A legal decision will be made following the outcome of the inquiry.

It is worth recalling that a violent altercation had recently occurred at a restaurant in the Yakkasaroy district. In that case, a man was hospitalized with a brain injury, a laceration to the right cheek, and signs of alcohol intoxication.
