Road closure in Tashkent for electrical cable installation

4068In Tashkent, road closures will be in effect to facilitate the installation of high-voltage electrical cables in the Shaikhontohur district, aimed at improving energy reliability for local consumers. According to the Tashkent City Electric Networks, work will involve dismantling road surfaces to install 110-kilowatt underground power transmission cables along Babur Street in the Yakkasaray district.
Starting from midnight on November 10 until 10:00 p.m. on November 11, traffic will be restricted on one side of Babur Street, from the intersection with Seoul Street to Bahadir Street.
Drivers are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
Previously, temporary road closures were also announced on Makhtumkuli Street in Yashnabad district, near the Kichik Halka highway bridge, for pipe replacement work.
